1. Who we are

Afri WorkPlus is a global marketplace that connects clients with verified professionals and businesses. The service is operated from Abuja, Nigeria. You can reach us any time at support@afriworkplus.com or +234 806 736 8141.

2. Information we collect

Account data: your name, email address, phone number, password (stored encrypted) and the role you choose (client, professional or business owner).

Profile data: headline, biography, categories, hourly rate, country, city and address you choose to publish, plus portfolio images you upload.

Booking and payment data: booking dates, event details, amounts, service fees and payment references returned by our payment processor. We never store your full card number.

Messages and reviews: direct messages between clients and professionals, service requests, replies and the reviews or photos you post.

Technical data: device type, browser, approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic usage logs used to keep the service secure.

3. How we use your information

To create and secure your account, show your profile to people searching in your field and location, process bookings and payments, deliver messages and notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, and improve the service.

Our in-app assistant may process the content of your support conversation to answer your question. Do not share card numbers or passwords in chat.

4. Sharing

We share only what is needed: your public profile with other users, booking details with the other party in that booking, and payment data with our payment processor. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access rules, automated security scanning and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing support@afriworkplus.com. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile, portfolio, messages and reviews, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.

7. Children

Afri WorkPlus is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.

8. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
